Calling All Angels....

Val and I LOVE our Angel games. Brad & Kerri
have season seats in the outfield, and we buy
at least a dozen games from him every year. At
first I was not sure about sitting in the outfield,
but I really like it ! We always have a great time
even though I usually freeze after dark ! We
have become Tori Hunter fans and are sure he
recognizes us when he walks out on the field...LOL !
Someday we hope to catch a HOME RUN ball, but
only a if it's an ANGEL home run...

We are hopeless fans !! GO ANGELS !!

I was a little worried he would try to be the first
sky-diving speedo-boy !

Brad, Kerri, Karly, Kyle and Kyle's friend, Bryan, all went sky-diving yesterday with their dad. Sounds like everyone had a great time... a different experience for everyone ! Karly loved the free-fall part. but got just a little queezy when her tandem partner decided to take her on some spins once the chute was deployed. Even though Kyle had a contact ripped out of his eye and a little ear pain, he LOVED it !! They are both talking about going again... anyone want to join them ?? ( Sheila Wanlass is on the list ! )

Anyone seen the Tooth-Fairy ??

This is Ryan, my 6 year-old grandson. He is such a fun & lovable joy in our life ... we love our times together. Ryan just lost his first tooth this past weekend and I am looking for his tooth-fairy... she is LOADED ! I have a toothache and will be making a trip to the dentist this week... I most likely will need a tooth pulled... ( what fun !) Noah, my 5 year old grandson also has a loose tooth, so Ryan or Noah, if you see the tooth-fairy, send her back to Chino to see grandma ! Love you XOXOXO

A new garage Door ~ what a diiference !

Last Saturday we got a new garage door.. I LOVE IT !! I guess most people would not get excited about a garage door.. but we are having fun with our home improvments... slowly but surely we are fixing and updating... this garage door is way cool ! I love the keyless entry... I have locked myself out of the house a few times and it was not a good thing... now hopefully I won't forget the code !! The next project is exterior trim painting ... will keep you posted when that's completed.

The Cummin's Family and Karly invited Val and I to Lake Arrowhead to watch Karly water-ski for the first time in 12 years !! Val stayed home as we had a new garage door delivered and installed today ! I am so glad I went and shared a fun day with Karly... we laughed and cheered when after about 5 tries, she was up and skiing ! I got to snuggle with Kelli's new baby, Avery, so I was of course in heaven. It was so good to catch up with Al and Shelley... they are wonderful and have always been so good to Karly !

Okay, so for over a year now I have been so drawn to checking in on everyone's blogs... keeping up on recent news.. watching babies grow... all the while thinking what a great idea this is ! So this morning I woke up at 4:30 am and could not get back to sleep... ( my alarm was set for 6:30 am, so I had 2 hours to kill ) Trying to be quiet for everyone else still sleeping, I got up and decided to get on the computer... of course I immediately went to Amber's blog to see if she had added any updates... checked Karly's ( she doesn't update often, but I re-read her creative writing just for kicks ! ) All of a sudden, it hit me !! I want to have a blog of my own !! In the past I had talked myself out of it, thinking I was too busy, but hmmmm..... here I was at 4:30 am with 2 hours... a PERFECT time to blog !! Not sure how to do all the fancy stuff, but I am SO excited to learn. I have never been good at keeping a journal, so I am hoping this will be a more creative and fun way to do what I should have been doing for years. Infact, I may not always blog about current events, but I may take time to blog about the past...

Val and I are blessed to have each other and an absolute beautiful family ... we love and share children and grandchildren... and extended family as well... although Val is not sure about my new blogging adventure... his cute and playful support will definitely add to the fun !

So.... I'll say goodnight... it's 10:15 pm, and remember I've been awake since 4:30 am !!

Amber, I love you and the awesome example you have set at being such a great blogger & a darling mom... and Karly, I love your adorable personality and for helping me get started with this blog... hopefully you won't be sorry !!
